Please note that our best work happens when our clients trusts and grants us the creative freedom to create a unique piece of edible art. We encourage our clients to be open to exploring new, exciting ideas. Orders can be placed by text, email, or through the 'Get a Quote' form.


How much notice is needed for cake orders?

We normally require 2-3 weeks from initial order to delivery to confirm availability of resources. Simpler cakes and most cupcakes may take less time.

 

Can I schedule a cake tasting for my event?

Yes. All cake tastings cost $30. 


Do you require a deposit?

We require a non-refundable deposit of ½ the amount of cake/ cupcake orders via Zelle, PayPal or CashApp. You may also pay using a credit card over the phone. A phone call consultation will be made within 48 hours after orders are placed online, after which a payment request/ invoice would be sent to your email. Changes can be made to your order until a week prior to your order date. 


Do you deliver?

Yes. A delivery fee of $5 is added for every 5 miles from Dayton. Pickups are also an option. All pickups would be at Champlin Library. 

 

Can I choose more than one flavor for my cake?

Absolutely. Every cake is a custom creation and each tier can have varying flavors.

 

Can I design my cake from a magazine photo?

Yes, and I advise my clients to send inspiration pictures of what style of cake they like. Please note that your cake would not be a replica of any picture provided. Design and colors would vary from inspiration pictures.

 

Can I have fresh flowers on my cake?

Yes. The type of flowers used are limited due to seasonal changes and food safety. Artificial flowers can also be used. Use of flowers provided by Lola Be Cakes incur an additional charge.
